Maison Surya Mathew

At Maison Surya Mathew, every piece of jewelry is crafted with meticulous artisanal skill and a personal touch. Our goal is to create meaningful jewelry that captures a precious moment or an emotion through our designs.

The House’s Founder and High Jewelry Designer, Surya Mathew, will draw inspiration from your life story to design and create jewelry that is both unique and the result of a fusion of French and Indian jewelry traditions.

The franco-Indian Connection

Of Franco-Indian origin, Surya Mathew was introduced to the Art of Sacred Jewelry in India. It is therefore in the essence of our Maison to add a sacred dimension to the jewelry we create. This is what brings life to the pieces we craft entirely by hand. Our creations can thus touch the souls of those who are receptive to them, just as art can.

See you at the Workshop

We welcome you by appointment to our sanctuary, in the heart of the Montorgueil district.
Whether you’re visiting to commission a one-of-a-kind piece, to purchase a piece from our permanent collections as a gift or for yourself, to seek an appraisal, or to organize a “lecture-experience” event, we are always delighted to introduce you to our world and to take care of the projects you entrust to us.

The Workshop, rue Montorgueil

Designed as a sacred sanctuary, Maison Surya Mathew fully embodies the spirit of the sacred art of jewelry.
The result of a unique collaboration between exceptional artisans, Surya Mathew and interior designer Anne-Laure Weeden chose to champion craftsmanship of the highest caliber by commissioning Lison de Caunes for the straw marquetry, Bryce Bianconi for the stained glass, and Cédric Peltier for the mural, creating a poetic, inspiring, and warm space.

At the heart of this space, sacred craftsmanship comes to life, with every detail telling a story.
